Fine view from the rooftop terrace is lovely.
First, there was no dedicated parking lot, which led to stressful searches for street parking. The beach access was misleading since sunbeds were only available for one day, and we were not informed about this change upon check-in. Finally, the shower temperature was inconsistent, especially with children present.

Wonderful hotel located right off the Paraleia in Kalamata- I booked this room for my parents who have a home in Kalamata but gave it to my family for a few days while we all gathered for a family reunion. My father commented that, "Pharae is the best hotel in Kalamata if you want to really enjoy the city and the sea!"

The bathtub was verging on dangerous, with odd spray nozzles making showering an almost circus act. The breakfast was decent but where was the abundance? And can we talk about how I expected, at the very least, room service to pamper me after this nonsense? I nearly gave a good review, but just couldn't.

Was direct on the promonade
The hotel was being renovated. There was no parking. Publich parking across the street. Kalamati was not the best choice to stay. Some of the smaller villages along the sea, Koroni, Methoni would have been much nicer.

This is a nice hotel exactly on the sea front, not the beach but the port, all was normal and standard, we arrived out of season but everyone was helpful, we choose this hotel as close to the centre, but in fact its a long way from the older city centre, its a good 20 minutes walk or 4-5 euro 5-8 min taxi ride, if you want stay in centre of Kalamata this is not hotel for you, only off road parking is available but plenty of that around 200 metres from hotel. This is perfect Hotel if you want be based not far from the port, or stopping off from an early of late Kalamata flight or before going on a tip further south on the Mani.
Just far from centre

What a good stay, no complaints whatsoever. Clean hotel with extremely friendly and thoughtful staff and fantastic location short walk to a kids' amusement park, beach bars as well as the harbor and Kalamata΄s seafront. Well-designed rooms with a view, sensational breakfast. A work desk, a multi-channel TV and a living area - very useful.
